Bluetooth woes

so i have an iogear bluetooth dongle that i am having problems using. i installed the software it came with but it wouldnt recognize like half the services available from my cell phone. i tried updating with widcomm 5.1.0.1700 drivers, my phone sees the computer, but the computer cannot find anything...what should i do...i want to use this to its full potential.
