Bluetooth USB Adapter $9.99 AR @ PC Club

My experience with PC club

bought 100 32x cds a year ago...

now i am burning at 24x .... ??!??!?!

i have a 40x lite-on burner that can burn 40x on staples cds, imitation cds, etc.

where does PC club find their vendors?
 
Anybody have this adapter care to comment on it?

I bought a FAR (+shipping) 802.11b PCMCIA card from them awhile back, and it works OK.

I tried searching the web for this model and can't find anything. I also tried Howardforums to see if anyone posted information about this, but it all resulted in nothing. Only mention of "Bafo" was regarding one of their IR products.

Well, CompUSA is selling one this week for $19.46 AR. Link (taken from the Wireless Networking Thread)

After the cost of shipping, the cost difference isn't that much. I'd rather have the ability to return it, as I don't have much faith in "generic" companies developing rising standards.

Maybe you can put this on a laptop and check E-mail on the road using a GSM/GPRS BT enabled phone. Maybe you can use it to transfer files between BT enabled PDA and your computer (although I prefer WiFi for that - however with BT you can do the transfer/sync when you are away from your network).

BT headphones for cells is not the only capability those phones have. You can sync your phone with your calendar on yoru computer and transfer various files, etc. You can also download programs to the phone (which isn't such a big deal with free GPRS connections now with T-mobile)
