Bluetooth requires further installation?

I have a warning triangle on my Broadcom BCM20703 USB Device. (not sure what that is exactly) But under events it says "Device USB\\VID_0BB4&PID_0306\807AABF4A89C5 requires further installation. Googling that didn't bring up anything for me.

Under device status it says "This device cannot start (code 10)
(operation failed) The request operation was not successful.

I have the latest BT driver. I tried reinstalling the driver, no luck...any suggestions?

BT is built into my motherboard. The only things I have connected to USB is my Steam Controller and RF dongle for my media keyboard and a USB cord that powers my audio DAC.

I use BT for another media kb I like to use and it's supposed to shut off when I turn off my computer but at some point it stopped doing that and I now have to remove the battery to shut it off. I figured maybe this warning had something to do with that but no clue what it is exactly.

just a guess:

perhaps a BT device has failed or is failing and generating the error?

with no BT stuff or usb stuff plugged in, does it give you the same error?

Try going through the pairing procedure again with that keyboard. Just having the driver does not eliminate the need to run the pairing procedure.

Download the BT driver for your motherboard at your MB maker's site (hey look..rule #1 not followed ^^). There is a chance the wrong driver is being installed and you may not have a BCM20703 .

Sometimes its as simple as uninstalling in device manager and choosing action then scan for hardware changes to let it reinstall. JeffMDs suggestion is a good one.

I did all that long before I posted here, that's why I decided I needed more help.
However disabling it, my kb still works so perhaps it didn't do anything? It's like a ghost hardware or something. But my kb won't shut down when the PC does like it's supposed to so thought maybe that was a reason why, perhaps not. Curious why it's there or what it does less it has something to do with signaling my BT devices to turn off.
Forgot to mention I have BT headphones too, though I turn those off manually, not sure if their supposed to shut off when the PC does or not.

This afternoon I paired my smartphone with my car's BT. It was a two step process - search by both - match numbers snd they find each other. The phone powers on and off - not controlled by the car. Same for my BT keyboard and tablet. They each power on independently. I must remember to keep the KB';s battery yup to speed. If the tablet shuts off, the KG does not. They are independent as far as power goes. I believe that goes for all BT pairings. Each device is power independent.
