I have a home intercom system. I want to put in a Bluetooth audio receiver. The intercom system is wall mounted and the electronics is within a "conduit box" behind drywall. There are AUX, connections on the board behind the wall. There are also DC power sources on the board behind the wall.

My thinking was to get one of these...

I see several of them that just accept DC power and source. My thinking is it broadcast a bluetooth name all the time. I simply connect my phone to it and switch inputs on the station. I send music to the unit.

Question is, if this board is behind the wall, will I never need to access it or will I need to reset it? Has anyone used these boards to know how reliable they are?

There is a chance it will forget your device, requiring you to press the pairing button. But it should be super rare unless the device is crap.

Just thought of an idea. I'll install a small push button power switch on the outside of the unit going to the power of the module. Pretty much if there is ever any issue I will push this. This is an even better idea because I wouldn't want it on all the time broadcasting a signal.....
