bluetooth question: a2dp and hfp at the same time?

Is it possible to connect my bluetooth stereo audio and the mono mic on the same headset to a single bluetooth card on my computer? I was told that it was not possible, even for a multipoint capable bluetooth headset. Essentially I'm trying to play a game in stereo and talk on skype at the same time.

A multipoint bluetooth headset can be linked to 2 devices at the same time however this does nothing to solve your problem as you need your bluetooth card to be connected to 2 devices. This is where my expertise runs out, i would suggest trying google and also suggest you just get a bluetooth headset and mic all in 1 to save yourself a headache

Hmm, it must be really odd for me to do what I'm doing then because I can't find out anything in google. There are plenty of multipoint headsets with mics, but from what I've read, they can only connect in mono or stereo, no combination. This means if I want to talk, I have to listen in mono, and if I want stereo quality sound, I can't talk.
