I'm looking for a Bluetooth solution for my laptop. The laptop is a Toshiba R100 and has a type II PC card slot and an SD slot. The BT card should stick out as little as possible.

I know that there's a Toshiba BT SD card "2" that's compatible with notebooks but its availability is extremely low.

Socket has a BT CF card that does not stick out at all but apparently the driver support is really bad.

I also saw some others, like a CF/PC card from Belkin (F8T006-PC) or a PC card from 3com, but I dont know anything about them... and I guess that's the point of this thread :)

Anyone knows better and doesn't mind to hand down a few advices? Please? :)

How often are you going to use BT???? I have BT built in now, but I have used a Belkin USB BT "dongle", though I like to call it just a plug..... Worked great... Plug it in when you need it, drop it back in your bag when you are done, and probably cheaper than a PCMCIA card or CF/SD based BT card.

I have a USB BT dongle that works great. Its just the fact that it sticks out that's bothering me... :)

I have a Bluetooth PCMCIA card that only sticks out about 2 cm after plugged in (there is an extendable antenna, but not really necssary if you're close range)... The range is about 95-100m, I believe. At least that is what the spec says.
