My friend has a Uniden Cordless phone that has BT but it feels very cheaply made. I was looking on Amazon and shocked I only saw a few models that had BT support. What's the hold up here? I was pondering getting a regular DECT 6.0 phone and adding a BT adapter to give it BT, but then I'd still be unable to really control the phone with the headset. I don't think the button to answer or make a call would work at all. I wouldn't mind importing a phone from Europe or something, I know Siemens has some crazy nice cordless phones in the UK.

Ideas what I can do here? I really don't like the few models Amazon is offering.

follow up question, I've found the phone I want but it's a UK only model. Besides a power adapter converter will I need anything to make it work in the states?

You will need a adapter for the phone line as their phone lines are diffrent. I know this is really something I looked into when I bought a new cordless phone 2 months ago, but from everything I read, the technology just isnt intergrated that well yet.
