Bluetooth not in control panel!

I installed the device and it shows as working fine in the device manager. I'd like to use the built in bluetooth features in windows XP but I can't get it to work. When I run bthprops.cpl it does nothing... ideas?

Is the Microsoft driver installed or other? If other, it would include its own control panel (such as Broadcomm btcpl.cpl) and Microsoft bthprops.cpl would not be functional -if available it may open but not do anything. XP BT features would still work with the other driver.

Main tip for installing third-party BT drivers is to first prevent MS' from installing by renaming bt.inf to bt.bak.

I am not familiar with MS drivers but if this info does not help try searching howardforums or the like.

I believe the microsoft driver is installed. I like to use the integrated windows stuff because I hate installing extra utilities when they are already integrated.
