Bluetooth Mouse

I have no idea where to start, just bought an Acer Ferrari and the mouse that it comes with is far to choppy to be of any use.

Just throw out some names and I'll check them out.

I'm also in the market for one.

I brought an Anycom BTM100, based on it's paper specs, but the mouse turned out to be quite disappointing.

The buttons are loud (i'm almost embarrassed to use it in the library), scroll wheel freaks out, will NOT track on single color smooth surfaces, design problem causes 1 in every 5 clicks to register as a double click, below average battery life.

so stay away from that one.

I heard there's a bluetooth version of logitech's MX1000 mouse, but so far, I've only seen it sold with a keyboard set. (plus the MX1000 is just too big as a notebook mouse for me). All others I've looked at seem to be missing one or two key features (mainly they are not rechargeable, a big turnoff for me who uses up 20 hours in 3 or so days)

I just (within the last couple of weeks) got a Kensington PilotMouth Bluetooth, model 72225. Got it from Buy.com for under $50.00 shipped. So far I've been happy with it. I didn't want to get a small mouse, and this one is not; it also feels pretty heavy.

The other day, I thought something was wrong with the mouse, it was jumpy. Turned out the batteries were dying. The mouse doesn't have the on/off switch, it shuts off automatically once there's no activity for some period of time. When I put the mouse away for the night the day before, I noticed that it was still active; thought it would shut down, but I guess it didn't. So this must have drained the batteries.

Hope this helps.

I know it's the mouse, there are plenty of reviews about it.

I believe the MX1000 is the RF one... From a little searching I think the MX900 is the bluetooth model, I'm pretty happy with my MX700 on my desktop so I might give that a look.

Thanks for the info.
