Bluetooth mouse problem

I am running windows 8.1 with mouse labeled (2), mouse labeled (1) was run using windows 7. Both mice disconnect randomly to the point that mouse (1) was replaced with mouse (2), using a different OS. I have tried going into device manager and finding every single bluetooth driver possible and unchecking the box that allows windows to disable the mouse (if the option is even given to do so). I have tried new batteries, and I have tried reinstalling all drivers possible. I am about to send the new mouse back and just get an RF mouse. I work with computers if you need to get more technical with your suggestions. I think it may be a hardware issue now. Thank you.

A lot of the reviews say that the Gigabyte mouse powers down to quickly. This is in the firmware, so I don't think there is a way you can fix that. A lot of the Newegg reviews also are seeing the disconnects you are. Whether is it power saving or disconnecting, that would be enough to make me look for something else.

I am seeing a lot of good information about the Samsung mouse. Have you tried using it with the other Bluetooth connection disabled (mouse and PC/laptop/tablet)? I wonder if there is some type of interference.

I will also say the the Logitechs with the unifying receivers have never let me down.

I will check/disable other bluetooth devices in the room and see what happens.
