Bluetooth Keyboard Security

I've started using an Apple Wireless Keyboard (2009 edition, uses Bluetooth) with my EeePC. I was wondering how secure this is ... I did a Google and found some indications that people could break it, but couldn't ascertain what's the current consensus, as there was some disagreement. Maybe I shouldn't use it at a Coffee Shop/Airport/Conference, or am I just paranoid? Thanks in advance for any info.

sniffing bluetooth is fairly easy, the actuality of it happening when you're in public is quite rare though. i would say you're overly paranoid, but if u want not worry then grab a corded keyboard

I thought Bluetooth was encrypted? And that you could only sniff during a "pairing" session? Or has it been cracked?
