Bluetooth/iphone help

I've just bought the iphone 4. My bluetooth earpiece is not showing up in the list of devices it sees. It worked on my old phone...just not sure if I need to do something on my phone?

I do have bluetooth turned to "ON" on my iphone. My earpiece is Jabra if that makes a difference.
