Just curious if anyone here has one, and how they are in terms of reliability/battery life and quality.

I've seen a lot of them that are compact, with the microphone almost directly below the earlobe. I'm a bit skeptical as to the reliability of those to pick up audio, and also how much they're affected by ambient noise.

If anyone knows of some good review places or has any recommendations, thanks in advance.

edit: looking for one that i can use not just with my cell phone, but also with my PC. It would be nice to use the bluetooth headset for ventrilo and have the game sounds come out of my speakers.

edit2: motorola HS-820. I'm liking that one, but the thing seems a little TOO small to be able to accurately pick up speech without picking up all the other noise in the area.

I have the JABRA Bluetooth headset for my cellphone (a Nokia 3650). I haven't tried it with my PC, but it works very well with my phone. I believe it has some level of noise cancellation on the mic, and nobody I've talked to on it has complained about the sound quality. The batteries last a fairly long time (I'd estimate at least 20 hours of being 'on', and maybe 4-5 hours of talk time on a charge; it recharges in about an hour).

It occasionally loses connection to my phone when I answer a call, usually when the batteries are getting low (turning it on and off gets it going again). And once or twice it seemed to get 'stuck' and wouldn't make a connection -- I had to re-sync it to the phone to make it work again. But other than that it's been very reliable.

I am actually also interested in this topic. Would it be possible to hookup a bluetooth headset into your pc? I was wondering if I could use it with some internet phone programs
