Bluetooth headset with notebook?

Friend of mine would like to know if a bluetooth headset for cell phones will work with laptops when using skype via bluetooth. Anyone have any advice or knowledge on the subject?

Apologies if it's not the right forum, but I don't know where to put this. 😛
