bluetooth card compatibility

i have a dell e1405 and was thinking about getting a bluetooth card. im pretty asure that 350 will work fine but im not sure about the 355, and im assuming the 360 series are for the newer laptops.
will i need a cable for it?
assuming 355 is better than the 350 and they should cost around the same im hoping the 355 is compatible.

I remember that the old Dells had a space in them, near the battery for the bluetooth chip. So you should not need a cable. Past that, i have no idea.

well apparently the 350 and 355 both should work, for some reason the 350 is considerably more expensive at dell while the 355 has better range...
