My father has a tablet from his work. They have it locked down so he can connect to the home wireless network, but he can't connect to the printer or any other computers in the network.

The printer is wireless, but it can't be connected to through the network. The printer is "bluetooth" capable, so is there some USB adapter I can/need to buy that his tablet will be able to print to without needing any admin privelages?

What is the printer brand and model? If its bluetooth support is not built-in then it may only work with certain bluetooth adapters.

Will it even be possible for him to interface with the printer through bluetooth w/out admin privileges? Won't drivers need to be installed?

My dad claims other people from work are able to print from home, but I don't see how.

Canon brand in my opinion is not that good. Hp brand for me is the best.
Better configure it properly.

I mean it can't be connected to properly by the tablet due to admin rights/restrictions. Other computers can connect just fine.
