bluetooth 2.0 transceiver

i have a microsoft keyboard/mouse combo that is bluetooth 2.0 and i broke the usb transceiver. microsoft will not sell just the transceiver to me, ive searched the internet but cant find a replacement. has anyone had the same problem or know of a replacement.
