What happen???

I was playing war3 when all of a sudden i hear some jittering noises like a small lag every few seconds. So i decided to alt and tab, bad idea because my computer froze and it went to the Blue Screen of Death!!

The blue screen said something about dumping my physical memory. So i restarted my computer and after windows loaded it did the same exact thing! Eventually after a few restarts, it goes straight to the blue screen and simply just restarts.

So now what i see is windows restarting, or dumping my physical memory every time. Windows restarts right after the load screen which is the screen with the bar moving from left to right.

The technical information is:

*** STOP: 0x000000f4 (0x00000003, 0x89A4A020, 0x9A4A194, 0x805D1140)

Beginning dump of physical memory.

Is it possible for the memory to just go bad all of a sudden? I've been using this newly built computer for about 4 weeks straight and this is the first time it has happened!!!

I'm guessing i have to run the memory test in safe mode since windows keeps on restarting??

Also i switched my setup. It is not longer an AMD. I upgraded to Intel Core 2 Duo 6300 using the same memory. So maybe it is the problem.

Wow has a high downstream and upstream thru multi ports. Also your OS will requires a lot of memories reserved to operate this software. Like we all know, OS in market is yet very stable to handle heavier command or to control the RAM traffic flawlessly.

Use OS CD to repair 'if you can'.

I guess it must be compatable since it's been running. Memtest runs outside of Windows. Try one stick at a time. If you're overclocking put it back to stock & check temps & volts.

Fair enough!

You know what? I remember downloading ATItool and overclocking my x800xl card a bit. You think that might be the cause? I'll try and uninstall that to see if it helps and run memtest.

Im using windows corp. edition along with an x800x on sp2. I've used the corp. edition along with my old AMD setup so im pretty sure it's not my windows.

Also the game i was playing is warcraft 3. I'll attempt to fix my computer again this thursday night since i have exams wednesday and thursday. =[
