*BLUES* what are some of your favorite Tunes?

Analog

Lifer
Some of my favorite Blues tunes are re-makes by 60s Rock acts like Cream, Zep, Traffic, Canned Heat, Stones etc. I especially like Cream's cover of Spoonful and Crossroads. Also the Stones "Midnight Rambler". Not sure if "you shook me " by Zep is a cover, but it is a damn good bluesy tune. Any other good ones? I'm trying to think of some from the Who, but I can't come up with any...

Chicago Blues!!!
Best bar for blues i have been to is Terra Blues in Soho in NYC. The last original blues bar from the good ole days.

Paul Butterfield, Brownie McGee, Lightning Hopkins, Memphis Slim, Houndog Taylor, Jimmy Reed......

I Can't Quit You Babe - Led Zep

I've actually really gotten into Zep's bluesy stuff lately. Great music.

Of course, I love pretty much everything by SRV...

Simply too many songs to list but I like:

Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, John Mayall, Bo Diddley, B.B. King, Solomon Burke, R. L. Burnside, Keb Mo', Buddy Guy, Percy Mayfield, John Lee Hooker, T. Bone Walker

Both by Howlin' Wolf - old school blues.

didn't Hendrix do a nasty version of Killing Floor?

Maybe - I do not know.
I know the Stones covered Howlin' Wolf's "Red Rooster" - I actually heard them play it live in the '80's.
