Blue to Red

I am installing windows xp and during the format, at 81% the blue box changed to red and it doesn't seem like its still formating. What should I do?

One option would be to use the Quick Format, if you want to give that a try.

Seems likely a hardware error. I'd look into a new drive.

Yea, the only difference between a quick and full format is a bad block check after the quick format so even if a quick format lets you get through the installation bad things will likely follow.
