looks black/white to me

blue means compressed files, it is an option

you should avoid it most of the time

don't try to compress c:\windows or c:\windows\system32

What's funny is these guys I work with said that it means that your file system is corrupted. :x

Damn I got caught!

A lot of files in system32 seem to be compressed... What should I do? I don't seem to have a problem with my system. Format?

just uncompress them. turn off the option
properties of the drive/folder/file
uncheck the box for compress files

Jean Baptiste is gonna be peeved ChocobaR; you can uncompress the files under properties AFAIK.
