Blue screen with file transfering

I am getting a Blue Screen everytime I try to copy my music from my old machine to my new machine. It randomly occurs, and I have no idea what's causing it. Its tough to write down what the BSOD says but after 3 fails I got this message:

DRIVE_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

or something like that. Windows will immediately reboot after 1-2 seconds on the BSOD and after boot, it comes up "The system has recovered from a serious error."

I'm using a wireless lan to connect to the machine. My laptop had no problem updating the files from the old desktop, so its not a problem between either the old or my laptop, but something here on the new machine.

I just built it and updated all the software on Windows Update, using reference drivers for the video card, and just updated the Nforce4 drives for my motherboard (Asus p5n32 sli-deluxe).

to get it to stop rebooting so we have a 0x000~ stop code, right click "mycomputer", goto the "advanced" tab, then click into "settings" under "startup and recovery" and on the window that opens, uncheck the "automatically restart" box and ok those changes on both screens until your back to where you started on the desktop. once you write down the stop code, you can goto support.microsoft.com to look it up for your operating system, like im assuming you have xp or 2000 since it reboots on a bsod.

your transfering the files over wireless? since it blue screens during this its quite possible a newer wireless driver will fix it for you.
