I have a EVGA GTX580 Classified which i installed with a 275.33 driver, I want to install the newest driver but every time i try it goes BSOD right after windows starts loading. I've tried installing each driver down the chain to the original(ok like 2 drivers) but each one created the same effect. I have followed every driver install instruction uninstalling the old drivers and hardware even using a driver sweeper but can only get back up and running with my original driver....any ideas?

What happens if you just install the new ones with the old ones still installed (with the "clean install" checkmark checked on in the nvidia driver installation program)? It should load them right away (not needing a reboot), if so does it blue screen on the next reboot?

Random thoughts on a related yet unrelated subject:
Nowadays I don't really think that whole process of uninstall -> safe mode -> driver sweeper is all that necessary. I've been installing mine in place (albeit with the clean option checked on) for a while now and have never had any problems, windows doesn't even require a reboot.
