BLUE SCREEN SP2

Hi does someone knows why i keep having a blue screen (exception 0x0000005 i think) only in some web pages ( and only when i'm online ) , in Hotmail it happens every time.

The wierd stuff is that if i disable HT in bios that doesn't happen.

My PC

Intel P4 2.8 Ghz @800Mhz w/ HT / Thermaltake Cooling
Asus P4P800s-SE
2x 512 Mb 400Mhz OEM ( 2.5c .3.3.6 )
Asus AX800 Pro Agp 8x 256Mb DDR3
Hd Seagate Ata 100 80GB
Dvd Asus Ata 100
DVD -r/rw Asus 4x
Pinneacle Studio Dv
SB Live!
Fresh install of Xp pro with Sp2
Cable modem Us robotics

I used to have a p4 2.8@533 and changed to a 2.8 ghz 800 Mhz Bus with HT.
Everything works fine , Doom 3 and Sims 2 works beautiful, i've burn Dvd's, used Sisoft sandra 2004 - NO PROBLEMS, i surf the web downloaded several drivers from several sites ( ASUS, ATI, CREATIVE etc etc etc ), still no problems, i tried to enter Hotmail service and BANG!!! blue screen , and again, and again, and again, Ok let's try with diferent memory ( usually i associate error exceptions with bad/faulty memory) and every time i enter hotmail service ( or my Isp by the way ) BANG blue screen!!!, not memory's fault.

Next i've moved to the processor... ( after all it was the newest piece of hardware i've install ), remove it clean it, used some new silver thermal grease from akasa , processor still work at 40 º ( celsius), and BANG!! blue screen when i tried hotmail . F*CK now i´m getting Piss** off.

Ok let´s do some net research... nothing, let's try the NOT logical procedure let's disable HT from my processor ( last chance , i´ve tried almost everything ) and VOILÁ , no more Blue Screens.

Very , very weird..., today at work i've research a little more and discovered that a lot of people are having blue screens because of DEP that comes with SP2, maybe it's that cause after all , does anyone have any idea of what am i dealing with here?????

I'm no professional when it comes to Hardware, but im not a newbie also, all my computers were home built since Intel mad the pentium and never ever had problems like this.

Any help woulb be very aprecciated

Thanks

Pedro Sebastião

Ps- I live in Portugal so i speak portuguese, so im very sorry for any errors that this message might have.

I just downloaded a patch from microsoft today that was related to your problem, perhaps you could do a windows update, and see if that fixes it. Otherwise I say ditch SP2 unless you really need it, as it's been causing strange problems like that for a lot of people.
