Blue screen restarts

Hi.
The desktop crashed. I think crashed is a big word for it. I restarted it after a day or so of downloads, everything normal, on restart I saw a millisec of blue screen and then a restart. After I tried a normal start up and got the same resuly, a "use last known configuration that worked" start up and got the same result... I tried a safe mode start, and it worked.
So... it's not that bad. The thing is, I unplugged and replugged every USB I connected recently, just to berify. I think it might be a new program (in the last operation I installed several, mostly anti viruses...) (yeah, I know, if anyone wants to yell "bingo", now's the time).
but before I start uninstalling stuff (tried restoring it to a week ago, didn't work) I just want to find out what the blue screen says. maybe it's not always full of "0011110110110101011" and there are actual words I might understand. Thing is, I can't catch that much in that millisec...
I read somewhere I can choose to "not automatically restart the comuter on fatal errors" but I can't find that option. how do I work the "pause\break" button?
Help! it's not that urgent... but ... help.
Thanks.

p.s. if anyone can contact a webmaster here... you can ask him to delete my first 3 "blue screen restart" messages... I'm not trying to flood or something... but I can't even go in them to delete them.

Start>My Computer>Properties>Advanced>Startup and Recovery>uncheck 'automatically restart'. Now you should be able to see the error.

Grab MPS Reports and run it on the machine.
Send me the resulting .cab file.
Send me the contents of c:\windows\minidump\*.*
Put it all in a zip file.
Include this URL.
