Hi, I have built a new system for someone with the specs at the bottom, only problem is everytime FF7 game gets to a certain point, or it is left idle for around 5 minites or more, it either shows blue screen and "dumps physical memory" or just flashes up a blue screeen for less than a second and resets. Sometime, e.g on Nero Burning Rom, it just freezes and reset button needs to be pushed.
I thought this could be a RAM problem to begin with, but I have used some Crucial RAM which I know to be good in the system and it still has the same problems. Also the onboard ethernet does not seem to be working reliably (although it doesnt actually crash the system) but this could be a configuration problem or something else.
Really need to get this fixed,
thanks.
SYSTEM SPEC:
MSI K7N420Pro motherboard, nForce IGP chipset
Athlon XP 1600
256Mb of Generic (SMART) PC2100 DDR RAM
Global Win FSP82
Generic Nokia-style case Generic 350W PSU (from CCL computers.co.uk)
Maxtor Diamondmax (i think) 30Gb 7200Rpm ATA133 HDD
LG 40x12x48 CDRW
using onboard nForce 32Mb GPU + onboard nForce MCP-T sound
OnBoard nForce ehternet 10/100 (enabled)
BIOS ver 2.7
Windows XP Professional edition
