Has anything (hardware or software) changed recently?

What OS and hardware?

How are your temps, voltages, and when was the last time you cleaned the dust out?

Is the problem reproduceable?

I ran this dump file through whocrashed and it reported back that this particular crash was caused by your video driver. When's the last time you updated your video card drivers? Did the crash start occurring after updating the drivers?

Thank you for taking the time to look through the log. That it was something GPU related did not surprise me as I was playing a game when it happened.

Nothing's really changed. Windows 7 64, i5 2500, 8gb ddr ram, crucial 250gb ssd, radeon 7770. I updated the drivers to my gpu sometime last year but the support for older cards tends to fall off after a while. Never the less, this is my first blue screen in at least a year or so. My Temps are pretty good, I use speed fan and the evo 212 keeps my cpu at about 30 idle and 43 under full load. The radeon is about 32 at idle and 68 under full load. I've been wanting to replace it, say for a 290x or 380 but I've been holding out for next generation.

What brand / model PSU? How old is it?

Although, I don't think that the 7770 takes a lot of juice (90-100W?), so that's probably not an issue, unless the PSU is more than 5-6 years old.

If you run OCCT : PSU test (CPU + GPU load), does it blue-screen? That's a good way to test the PSU.

The AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.3.2 Driver is compatible with the following AMD products.

...

AMD Radeon™ HD 7700 - HD 7900 Series Graphics

Still supported.

Cool, guess I'll update them. Nothing to lose, right?
Edit: I downloaded that driver suite but it said that chipset drivers are not included. Why don't they include that, and where can I find the chipset ones for a 7770 (windows seven 64)?

It's a EVGA 100-B1-0600-KR. It's like a month old. Replaced a noisy Antec earthwatts 500watt.

"Chipset drivers" are for the motherboard's system chipset. You don't have an AMD chipset on your motherboard, do you?

I guess that's contradicting in hindsight. But it's been fine for a month so I figured it wasn't the issue, especially considering the log showed it to be a gpu issue. Perhaps it was just a fluke. I updated the 7770's drivers in any case. I'm like han solo here trying to hold it together until new gpus arrive this year.

Well, you could update the GPU drivers. In general, that's a good idea.

But do download OCCT and run the PSU test, see if you blue-screen. If you do, you may have PSU issues, or your GPU may be failing.

Keep an eye on the temps during the PSU test too, see if they get really high. You might have cooling issues too.

Despite running the new drivers I had another issue today while gaming, though it did not blue screen. The screen went black in and out and I got a "display driver stopped responding and has recovered" notification. Speedfan shows the gpu is only running at 70c under full load. Do I need to replace the gpu?

70 under load is about right for that card. Considering the AMD driver was listed in your minidump file, and that it just crashed on the video card driver, the card would seem like a valid cause. As VirtualLarry mentioned, run OCCT for a while before your throw your card out, just to make sure CPU stress doesn't cause amy issues (although this is doubtful).

Could also be flaky memory causing some kind of corruption that ends up choking up the display driver. Seen it before. Run memtest for 12 hours or overnight to make sure no errors.
