I have a rig (quite old now, gonna upgrade in the next 2 months) that has started to (yesterday) get a Blue screen of Death every time I try to play any one of my games
The possible important parts of the rig are as follows:
Celly 2.4 Prescott(OC to 2.6)
Asus P4S800D-X
HIS Radion 9250SE with latest drivers supporting them (somewhere along the lines of 6.5)
2*512MB ram (1* PQI + 1* Vdata)
This rig worked perfectly until yesterday and in its whole 2 year life, until this week, I had only seen a BSoD 4 times!
The BSoD says the following under Technical information
*** STOP: 0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0xBA87E439, 0xB7214550, 0x00000000)
