Blue screen of death when I rebooted after trying the AOL kaspersky

dmit, I've got a problem. I uninstalled AVG free and installed this, when I rebooted I got the blue screen of death. I never uninstalled the virus vault, should I have?

Thr first reboot after installation I got the blue screen of death beore I got all the way into windows. Ihad played with mt memory timiungs earlier today and had no problem runnin memtest or windows all day, but I thought maybe I had them too tight, so I went into setup and changed them back. Of corse then it had to check the disk for consistency abd it changed a boatload of stuff and ut all had to do with avsm which I assume is this anti-virus program.

So I let it reboot and tried to get into safe mode, but I missed it and when it got to the raid bios it stopped and gives me the option to rebuild or continue??

HELP!! LOL, it's not funny!! Anybody got some good advice??

Well - it's a bump. AVG is not Kaspersky. you need to get into SAFE MODE and then do a SYSTEM RESTORE to a date before you made the bad chopice to use AOL anything.

Well, I don't have system restore enabled. I hit cintinue and went into safe mode but I couldn't uninstall AOL kaspersky, so now I'm rebuilding the drives and will go into safe mode, delete some autorun registry keys and reboot, and then select last know good configuration <crosses fingers>

I don't have system restore enabled. So what I'm going to do is rebuild my raid, boot into safe mode, modify the registry setting to not run AVS, then reboot and use last known good configuration. (Keeping fingers corssed)

No Luck with that, it still crashes. It looks like I may have to go into registry and take no prisioners. Need to think............ any body have a better idea?

STOP: 0x00000035 NO_MORE_IRP_STACK_LOCATIONS

It gets into windows safe mode fine, my son is on it right now on the internet with it, googling everything of can think of. We've seen mention of it in relation to kaspersky and fat 32 partionsm which is what I have.

kl1.sys klick.sys klif.sys klin.sys klop.sys drivers removed and now I can get into windows. My son is pretty smart, he taught me everything I know 🙂 Actually he did it all for me. Priase the lord and screw AOL.

WTF was I thinking?? 😕
