So I bought my new Clevo in early December, out of the box the screen wouldn't work. Itried everything and finally sent it back after christmas
I just received the product back yesterday, and the invoice says "48 hours tested works fine"... and yes the screen is now working, but when I install Windows fresh off my retail DVD (win 7 x64), then install the included DVD driver for the 6970m, every boot now does not make it into Windows without a BSOD.
Formatted, reinstalled windows. Everything seems fine without graphics driver. Went to Clevo's website and downloaded the 6970m driver there..... SAME ISSUE ALL OVER. It appears the driver was same version as what was on the DVD. (June 2011 release date)
Do you think it's just a driver issue? I contacted Clevo who told me to use the following:

Not home right now... hopefully works when I try this one.
Very frustrating spending over $1000 on a laptop thats 2-3 months old without ever using it.
