First, here are my stats:

Hi. I was playing video game when my computer aburptly restarted. When it restarted, the screen goes blue with the following messaage.

"The BIOS in this system is not fully ACPI compliant. Please contact your system vendor or visit http://www.hardware-update.com for an updated BIOS.
If you are unable to obtain an updated BIOS or the latest BIOS supplied by your vendoris not ACPI compliant, you can turn off ACPI mode during text mode setup. To do this, simply press the F7 key when you are prompted to install storage drivers. The system will not notify you that the F7 key was pressed - it will silently disable ACPI and allow you to continue your installation.

Technical information:

*** STOP: 0x000000A5 (0x00000011, 0x00000008, 0xF89C90C0, 0x0100000C"

Now, i search the forums and found it could be memory related. Thus I removed 1 stick of the corsair, and works.

However, im only running at 512mb ram. I want to run at 1g ram

Anyone know any suggestions on this? Could it be the BIOS? Why does this happen all of a sudden? Thank you for any feedback.
