Blue Screen Error

Hi, I'm a relatively new user to computers and to this website. My friend put together a PIII 800Mhz with Win ME for me. I have been getting a lot of blue screen errors when I use IE5.0, Windows Media player and P2P applications like WinMx or Kazaa.

The error reads:

VCACHE(01) + 000015A4 Error : 0E : 0028 : C004EC40

Can anybody help?
