Blue screen code question

I had a bluescreen earlier but i never saw it because the screen was black, all i got was the "windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown" popup on next boot to tell me there was a bluescreen.

My question is:

Does this:

Because you know how sometimes the last 3 digits in that can indicate what's wrong like in this list:

These are images i just pulled from google to illustrate what i mean, they're not what i actually saw, although the popup i saw did happen to have a 116 code.
 
Looks like 0xD1 = add QPI/VTT voltage issue maybe.
But the 116 bugcheck code seems to be the video card/driver issue.

Do you have a dump file? If yes, download Microsoft Debugger, load file and type !analyze -v to see what driver caused it.

I guarantee you its your RAM, that code is RAM code,,,,,,,gl,


It is a stability issue. Take your BIOS to all defaults stock temporarily and give the RAM and CPU enough voltage so it wont crash.. gl
 
IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL - That is a driver issue, completely. Not hardware. Normally video drivers are corrupt.

Disagree. This error code usually reflects a hardware problem which causes the video driver to fail. The hardware problem is almost always memory, but it could also be a hot card. If it is RAM then the problem could be low volts, overclocking, or incorrect optimization settings in the BIOS.

Well, everytime I had the IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL, I ran driver sweeper and reinstalled drivers. This usually cured the problem.

Anytime where I seen a hardware crash, it would freeze, along with the sound and all, with no bluescreen.
