Blue screen after removing spyware

Nocturnal

Lifer
I am receiving a blue screen on two units after removing multiple instances of spyware. I have attempted to do a repair installation. Once it gets through the text portion it will reboot and blue screen once again. Prior to this I was able to get into safe mode but not regular mode.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I figured that with the repair install it would remove any bad files or corrupted registry and replace it with a new one. Am I wrong in this assumption?

Some Spyware insert hooks from variety of Network/Internet settings to the Spyware files.

Once you remove the Spyware files the hook might stay then when executed and fail to find the target, Trouble starts.

You might need to clean the registry and refresh the Network settings.

If the computer blue screens how can he install and run any software to fix the registry and network settings?
Am I missing something?

Ought to be able to boot off the cd and then copy the damaged files over. But if repair isn't working then it is something pretty fundamental.
