Has any one seen these?I think insane hardware had a preview on it.Does anyone know when it will be out,or were too get it ?

I think its also a bit smaller and flatter since its meant for motherboard chipset cooling, and perhaps video chip cooling. Still, based on the pictures I think its much larger than typical chipset/videochip coolers.

And no, I don't know when it'll be out or where to get it...sorry 🙁

From what I've seen on them, it looks like you could fit one on a video card without wasting a PCI slot, but it looks like a really tight fit. You can use them on the mobo chipset too, and from what I've read about active cooling on a chipset, it helps allot with stability (especially with overclocking). Abit's using active cooling on the KT7s.

As for when they come out, no idea, but I hope they come out soon 🙂.

Doesn't matter what color they are, they equally suck.

You couldn't pay me to use one of those poorly designed coolers.

Rudee,

how do you know hte blue orbs suck? The Gorbs aren't the greatest heatsinks in the world, but they get the job done.

Blue orbs will probably do a much better job than passive cooling on mb's, and they will probably do good job on video cards.

yea they do look really cool 😛 I was thinking of buying a crome orb and sticking it on my geforce..But I think thatll take up like 2 pci slots 😛

Apparently Rudee is a designer of super efficient heatsinks.

How bout a link showing us yours designs?

And your prototype that kicks the GORBS ass and costs the same.

What are you guys, Alpha elitists or somthing? Sheesh!

I painted my Golden orb grey, and found out it didn't dissipate heat well and ran hotter, so I sanded the outside, and now I call it the ugly orb.

I painted the fans aluminum, and painted the tips of the blades metallic to give the air plane ring effect (Kick arse)

I painted the wires, and am now working on air brushing some symbols on the inside of my case.

My computer fans RPM slowed by 0.003 percent after the paint job.. WELL worth it..

Personally I prefer the original urine colored orb.

Guaranttteed to show your "flip chip" who's boss.

🙂
