Blue Orb on a Geforce2 GTS?

I was wondering if there is any way to mount a blorb on a GTS (Asus v7700pure) and have the orb draw its power from the power connector meant for the the stock cooling fan? Could I snip off the power connector from the original cooler and the orb and attach the stock cooler's connector to the wires from the orb, and then connect the orb directly through the card's power connector?

YOu can put blue orb on the asus, but the conector for the fan
is bigger , it is like the one on the mobo.
you can plug in on to the mobo or cut the cable and use the
conector header on the stock fan.

i don't like the idea of cutting anything in case you wanna sell it latter
i think it's better to just plug it in the mobo connector,
and you also have to empty the pci 1 slot 'cause the blu orb is twice as
thick as the stock fan.

peace

I would connect it to the motherboard, but I have an MSI K7T Pro2-A, and other than the CPU header there is only one other header, and it's currently in use. I was really worried that the blorb would draw too much power, but it seems like this won't be an issue.

If you don't have any unuse con. on the mobo
i prefer to use the 4 pin adapter that comes w/ your orb
and connect it directly to the psu.
you can always try it to use the header on the card w/ the modification
it's not gonna fried anything if it's draw more power.
the worse is your vga is not stable because lack of power.

good luck
