I just got a blue orb, but I need all my pci slots. If I put the blue orb on my video card, will it occupy a slot below the card?

You should always leave the first PCI slot free for 2 reasons: 1) you want to make sure fresh air is easily assesible by the heatsinks on your video card 2) the first PCI slot is shared with the AGP.

Might I ask when all the PCI slots must be used? You have 4 or 5, right? 🙂
 
Yeah, the blorb will take up the first pci-slot (have one), and like FlowerMan said you shouldn't use it anyway. Why do you need 4-6 pci-slots?
