I've seen the Blue Man Complex Rock Tour, and the Las Vegas Stage show... My question is this, are the shows different at different locations? Meaning, is it worth seeing them in NYC or Boston?

well supposedly they just came up with a new act, i heard it on the radio

I saw it in Chicago, we ushered (poor college students) and got free seats in the row right behind the ones where ppl get wet.

I've wondered this too.. I've never made it to a show but I would love to.

Is there particular places that they pull out all the stops?

Sadly. Once you get over that, they are much better ;)

Haha, it's so wrong that that's how people know them. They put on the best shows I've ever seen and tickets are surprisingly inexpensive.

I saw the Las Vegas show a few years ago. It's well worth the cost of the tickets :D

i believe they use the same routine everywhere they go. They just came up with a new routine beginning of this past year.

I heard the same thing about the new act.

But the 2 times that I saw them .... 2-3 years ago and one more time in September, the act was the same.

I saw them in Chicago. Really fun show. Is worth it to see it at least one time. And yes the shows are different per location.

Like I said, I've seen 'em in Vegas and we can get the NYC location pretty easily. Are you sure it's a different show for each place? My wife loves them, so I dont think it'll be a big deal if it's the same, I'd still like to see it changed up a big.

Paid ~$90 per person to see the in Vegas in September. Even the wife (who made the entertainment selection that evening) wants the money back. The performance wasn't bad, but $90 for 90 minutes is way too much. If the tix were half that, I probably would have never complained. The hotel (Luxor?) was quite nice, but so are most of them on the Strip. :)

- Cirque du Soliel: Been there, done that (@ Disney), might pay full price for a different show (not sure about Zumanity, though ... I don't know if I'd ever publicly admit to seeing that one)
- Blue Man Group: Did that, won't even pay half-price ever again

Yup, they are entertaining, but not worth $90 I paid to see them in Vegas two years ago.

i saw them in NYC. I saw the las vegas show on video. i feel that if you have seen the Las Vegas show, you wont enjoy the NYC show as much. The Las Vegas was a much bigger theater while the NYC (Astor Place theater) isnt all that big. That said, they were kick ass

Well, they are still doing the commercials, what do you expect?

From what I've heard, they recently (last 6-12 months?) changed their act.

Saw the Vegas show about three years ago. I really enjoyed it. Paid around $80 each. Was a little expensive for what it was, but HIGHLY entertaining. The paper thing from the back of the audience was hillarious!
