Blue Man Group and good?

NetWareHead

THAT guy
(typo in thread title...should be "any good?")

So I avoid musicals and Broadway shows like the plague. Never been much into theater and I think singy-songy musicals flat out suck and don't interest me at all. I was roped into see "Grease" and thought the singing was excessive and silly. I saw one broadway show a long time ago, "Cats", and hated it. I wished I could have fallen asleep but the damn music was so loud and I was borderline miserable throughout the entire play.

So, the woman wants to see a musical and is dragging me along to see it. She wanted to see "West Side Story" but as soon as I saw the term musical in its description, I flat out said no. She is the type of girl who likes musicals, "Grease" etc... which is why I refused, since I already know her taste.

So her new idea is Blue Man Group. I saw some youtube clips of them and it looks ok, some funny parts. Any other guys who hate musicals/broadway and saw Blue Man Group? I'm hoping BMG won't be as dreadful as other productions I've seen.

Loved it. Doesn't hurt that I also like the music. There's probably something wrong with a person that can't enjoy the show.

It seems so 90s to be talking about BMG, but yeah, they're really interesting and unique. Definitely worth a looksee.

The Blue Man Group is not a musical. It's more like a concert. Definitely worth seeing. And yea, I don't do musicals either.

very awesome show. saw them when i was in boston a few years ago, would def go again if they come to philly.

Saw them a few years ago at the Venetian in Vegas, where they still perform. Years before that I saw them at the Luxor. They put on a very entertaining show that's well worth going to see.
