Blue line going vertically down screen

I have a Hyundai L90D+ LCD and a EVGA 7800GT. I just got the 7800GT a couple days ago and started OCing it. Everything seemed fine. Temps were good, no lockups, artifacting, etc. Today, while I was browsing the web, a blue vertical line showed up. It is about at the inbetween mark between the very left and center of the screen. I have the card back to stock speeds and it is still there. It is also there right as the computer posts. I know there is a bios update out there for the card. Should I try that. or is the card bad? Or could it have been a coincidence and a line in the lcd is gone?
Thanks for your help.
Mike

Really? I had never heard of it. Just seems weird for it to happen right when I got a new video card. I guess I will need to hook it up to another computer and see.

Oh...hmm. Well I also got a 7800GT a couple days ago and connected via DVI to my Samsung 710T it doesn't have any problem (no overclock either though). Maybe the overclock is damaging your RAMDAC/TMDS transmitter or something, no clue. I remember someone else mentioning the line problem with the L90D+ saying many people had it.

It might be defective RAM on the card, or a defective display panel indeed. With one single isolated line, it's more likely to be the panel.

Well, I guess what I need to do it take the screen to a friend's, hook it up there, and see what happens. I guess that is the easiest way to isolate which item it is. I am having an issue making a dos bootcd with the flash files so I can update the bios on the card, in case that is a possibility.
At least everything is still under warranty.

Oh, and I just read about there being a batch with a bad line. I guess I could be one of the lucky ones. :/

Dang. Just hooked it up to a laptop and it is still there. Looks like warranty time on the lcd. :(

I had the Hyundai L90D+ LCD and started to get vertical lines, I RMA'd it and got my money back.
