Blue LED Optical Mice?

Anyone out there know if you can swap the LED inside an optical mouse with a blue one or color of your choice? I want to change all the LEDs on my computer to blue including the LED on the bottom of my Microsoft Intelli Optical Mouse, anyone know if The mouse will still function if the LED isn't red?

i've heard the sensor doesn't work well with blue led, but i'm not sure

my logitech has a blue led tail light, i don't need to mod thing is bright like a bloody nightlight hehe

Nefrodite, it's true that the sensors are less sensitive to objects lit by blue light than red light, but it is overcome by using an LED with a rated brightness of >3,000cdm. stevewm posted a lot of useful info in the thread I linked to.
