I don't have any foscams but I use BI with several megapixel IP cameras. It's a great piece of software, albeit a little rough around the edges in terms of UI.

But for the price, nothing really compares to it.

I have 2 types of camera. I bought the first two from Costco, they're the SWANN 2-for-$350 pair that doesn't seem to be listed right now. I bought them after learning they're just rebranded Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I bullet cameras. They weren't cheaper than I'd seen them anywhere else, but the security of Costco sold me.

After having great luck with their performance (albeit tricky setup process), I ordered 4 of the dome versions from nellyssecurity.com hikvision, the DS-2CD2132-I.

For the price, they're a VERY solid value.

Here's a good site to use for researching (assuming they have tested the camera you want).
