blue fluorescent tubes in Busses

In ever city bus around here, there are mostly normal white fluorescent tubes to light the interior, but one or two of them is blue on each bus

what is the blue for?

Is it one of those UV sterilization lamps? Those are usually purplish. Maybe it marks an exit or something.

Yeah, I see those around work. The purple ones though. What are those for? I mean, what are they sterilizing?

DUH ... if there's a storm or something, and the power goes out, then those are the back up lights!
