Blue Devil to be called ZR1

Great name!

Long term Corvette owners, who will be buying this machine, recognize the ZR1 as one badass piece of engineering from the early 1990's!

Yeah, I was talking to some auto show guys and we were hoping that they opted for the ZR-1 moniker...saw one of the last generation ZR-1's at the Dream Cruise, complimented the driver.

What's the point? I mean the Z06 is freakishly fast as is, and putting a model between that and the ZR1 would be a delicate task, as the ZR1 probably won't put down numbers that are all that much better in the 0-60, and quarter-mile times. 100-150, and 60-150mph should improve a lot, but launching a car with that power-to-weight ratio can be hellishly difficult.

A great example was that 600+ torque Mercedes AMG coupe. It's 0-60 times were WORSE than the 500hp/tq version. I think it was the SL65 vs. the SL55, not sure, it's been a couple of years.
