And those are just regular old Hornets. The Superhornets are much louder and those are the ones I get to listen to on a daily basis.

This is just one thing I won't miss when I move to Texas next month.

They'll be doing it here next month. My work is close enough to Offutt that we can watch them at break time.
Last year it was pretty sweet, one of them did what seemed like a fairly low fly-by, looked like he was headed straight for us :D

I'll have to try to remember to bring my camera with me that week and get some pics for ATOT.

gonna fly down to miramar (san diego) in october and see em. havent been to an airshow since i was like 10. cant wait!!

soon the EAA caravans flying overhead soon too. Thats the best for days plane after plane after plane... you name it you can see it overhead. Best is when the Warbirds fly in in packs.... just awesome

try to sleep about 1/4 mile away from the runways for F-16 and A-10s. A-10s are not that bad.. but F-16s.. I HATE THEM

When I was in high school, we lived across the bay from the Naval Air Training station in Corpus Christ, Tx. We got a free airshow every year. :)

I wish I had had a high-powered camera back then.
