Anyone know of any good deals or other recommendations at this moment? Nothing special needed just a basic player, been using my HTPC for ther last couple years but the wife wants something a little easier:hmm:

If you don't need wireless, the Panasonic BDT110 is a good player. I have the BDT210 which has wireless and it works great.

I have the Pannasonic DMP-BDT110 and would recommend it.

I use it for Netflix streaming as well, and have had no issues. I think the Netflix app had some issues in with older firmware.

I have the Panasonic DMP-BD65K. I use it only for playing blu-ray discs, which it does quite well.
It regularly goes on sale for ~$99.

The PS3 is only $250 now. Would make a great compliment to your HTPC.

There was a time when I would have said this, but if you ever think that you may want to stream local rips of DVD or BR, then stay away from the PS3.
