I'm looking for a good 12x Blu-Ray Player for my new gaming computer. I'm trying to decide between Pioneer, Sony, and LG.
Pioneer Blu-Ray Burner SATA BRD-206BKS
LG Black Super Multi SATA WH12LS30 LightScribe Support
SONY Black Blu-ray Burner SATA BD-5300S-0B - OEM
There prices are pretty much the same, so I don't want to go with the Pioneer just because its cheaper. I also want to get them by the end of tonight to take advantage of the 10% off. LG has a ridiculous amount of reviews on their older model, but I'm pretty sure that is because the price was $75 at one point.
I've used Sony for around 5 years and had no problems, but Lightscribe looks enticing. Unfortunately I don't have much experience with LG or Pioneer and Samsung doesn't have a 12x Burner :|
So anyone suggestions would be appreciated!
P.S. Sony's Speed in the Details are wrong, its at the same burning speeds as LG and Pioneer, one thing I was always curious about though is whether a 8MB Cache makes any difference on a Burner? Because Sony's Access Time is twice as slow as LG... Though at ms speeds it'd be barely noticeable.
