I am trying to buy a blu-ray burner and it appears the only maker is LG, what happened? I only see 7 drives on newegg and other sites. The reviews are making think I should not use LG but since no one else even makes them aside from Plextor, quality is sketchy at best these days and sony's laptop version.
It has been a couple of years shouldn't there be more than LG and pioneer?
My goal is to store media in a media safe for pictures and DL DVD is not cutting the mustard for all these RAW files at 10MB each. I do also use a NAS as backup.
