Blown pixel on new DS Lite

Oyeve

Hi all. I just bought a new black DS Lite because the bright screen is so much better than my old DS. Problem is it has one blown pixel on the lower right of the touch screen. I can only see it on a black screen. I bought at EBgames yesterday. Question is, should I return it for one pixel? Or should I just ignore it? It doesnt bother me at all but I am concerned about more blowing out in the future. All of people I know who have the Lite version have a blown pixel (must be common I guess). my old DS has been used heavily and never blew a pixel. Return or not to return? I wonder what EBgames return policy is on blown DS Lite pixels. I have heard 3 or more, I have heard 1. I have no clue and hope someone here can enlighten me. 🙂

From what I have read in the past and on other peoples posts you might have trouble returning it over just 1 blown pixel!!

Worth a try though.....good Luck!!

If it doesn't bother you then I wouldn't worry about it. Bad pixels generally do not spread. I don't know if their policy has changed but I had a GBA SP with one bad pixel and Nintendo fixed it no problem.

Me too. When I bought my SP it had one bad pixel and they swapped it out no questions asked. I think i'll keep this one and if another pops up in the next few days I'll try to take it back or send it to Nintendo. Gotta admit, the black Lite looks sweet! Thanks for the input guys.
