blow in...blow out?

which direction should my cpu-fan blow?

towards the cpu or away from the cpu?

currently its blowing towards the cpu...

i have 1 fan in front of the case that blows in
i also have 1 fan on the back that blows out
i also have 1 slot fan under the agp vid card

Assuming it is a normal type heatsink, and not one likt the Alpha utilizing a duct to channel airflow, set it to blow onto the heatsink. Otherwise the air will be drawn in from the edges with no flow in the middle of the fins.

As for fans, low drawing in, high blowing out is a good rule, using the natural flow of heating air to help overall cooling.
